Hello lovelies, posting sooner than usual tonight, in honor of our beautiful full Harvest Moon!
I'm sharing this mixed media piece to celebrate her. Yes, I know that 'tis said the man in the moon..but that is not the moon energy I know. She is something far more ancient and alive.
Harvest Moon speaks to the circle of life in our world — sometimes tender, sometimes hard, always true. Yet..we can learn from all of it. Most importantly — live fully, every single day.
Where I live on Drayton Island I experience her on the river setting in the west as the sun rises behind me in the east. For a spell, it's just the moon and me before the sun's first light appears. This morning she floated above the little island across from us sending her light across the river etching out the trees at the river's edge.

So, if you are able, step out and see her tonight.
Are you familiar with our golden silk orb spider..another beautiful lady? Did you know that she signs her work? What are her secrets?
My thoughts...
Beauty is all around us.
Like the butterfly..fly until we can no longer use those wings.
Who knows what's beyond..the butterfly knows. As does the spider.
